Welcome to the Project Helios !
The Biggest secret the government have, is the knowledge of the Stargate Program. For years, members of the US Airforce have gone through the Stargate. Making both friend and doe, Earth has gained its name as the Fifth Race.
It's journey however, does not end here, when they discovered the Lost City of Atlantis, previously owned by the Ancients who are also the gatebuilders. It is located in the Pegasus Galaxy, leaving the Atlantis team on their own, to make new friends, and protect human worlds against their biggest threat, the Wraith.
Another discovery found, was Icarus Station, where a ship called the Destiny was found, which was also owned by the Ancients, and believed to be the transport for the gates on each of the worlds throughout the galaxies.
And now, a Ancient Outpost has been found in Atlantis' Database in the vicinity of Midway Station. Earth sends out an expedition headed by rachel brooks, called "Project Helios", to support both our galaxy and the Pegasus Galaxy, aswell as protecting Midway Station from furthur attacks like the recent attack from the Wraith, but now is rebuilt.

Hey everyone, I'm back from my LOA!
I will now be taking as more active role on Project Helios and if anyone wants to do a JP with me to message me or start one, otherwise, I just wanted to say I'm back. If someone could update me on what's happening that would be good, thanks.

With holiday over, and school returning, things should return back to how they were.
All that remains for this itnroductory part is the sub-plot which is part of a JP, but once that is over, we can start missions so if any one has any ideas they wish to put forward, then feel free.
If anyone is having trouble of what to post, then please let me know, but for the general idea for those not going out into the forest/jp is to get adjusted to your new quarters, your new assignment, etc...

With the upgrade to Nova and the first decline of the simm last month, I will be sending out pm's to see who is around, and what response I get, I may change your position, but the main thing is your still on the simm and I am making these decisions to help this site, the only SG simm in Phoenix Fleet to continue, and I hope you will all help me, while I also recruit to get more members with us.

Marine ranks now added to the Nova Rank Structure. There is still a fair amount of work to do for everyone but at least it is a start.
